I have made the following observations and revilations in Color, Drawing, Form class.
Takeing a formal aprouch to how you display, phograph, or illustrait an idea will drasticly effect how the viewer see's the composition as a whole.
Drafting skills are extremly helpful in designing things in an acurate perspective as if it it were occupieing space. (illustraited 3D objects or diagrams of 3D objects with flat artwork projected on them)
Color is one of the most complicated yet descriptive tool in a designers study and practice. if one can utilize the effects of color one can create visualy stimulating work that has a powerful way of moveing eyes to a larger understanding of what the creaters messege is about .
These three Aspects of Design will be very usefull in what I choose to do, and how I observe the world.
My awareness of form and the presense of color has stregthend in my observations and i will continue to use all that i have learned with a much broader understanding.
This year i could have produced more in sertain areas but i need to attack my studies in a less stressfull manor.

Find And Share
For my find and share I chose to share a flash game.
This flash game relates to class because of the real world elements used as components to the flash game
All the objects and subject matter that is visual in this game are all hand crafted out of cardboard.
I thought it to be an excellent example of taking hand made works and images and using it as content for the game.

reading response vector vs bitmap
So in response in the article that i read about the diffrence in use between a bitmap and a vector image pretty much told me everything i already know.
Vector formatted images are very much use full for files that will be up scaled or down scaled such as logos, graphics for billboards, silk screen graphics like t-shirts, and many other things.
Bitmap images are pure oposite from vectors because they are perfict for photographic images and web images as opposed to relitivly flat artwork like a vector.
the big diffrence between the two is how the computer functions with the information.
Bitmaps have tiny cells of color more comfortably known as pixels, these pixels in one image can be millions of difrent colors. if you scale a bitmap image down the pixels still look great as a whole composition or image. but the downside to a bitmap is if you try to scale it up the computer cant create colors with no instructions to follow therefore incresing size renders you a blurry, foggy image of lesser quality then the original.
a vector image is quite different and computers love to scale them ( so i think haha!) vectors are shapes made with points and lines and solid colored fills and gradients. these you can scan because instead of remembering single pixels the computer remember the geometry and mathematics to recreate something to the given size any day or any time. (computers love math, I don't, that's why I love computers ;D) any how with a given set of instructions ( the math and geometry) the computer can recreate your image with no problem or distortion

Josef Albers and his incredible color plates
Color, color, color, on the left is a color wheel constructed from my color aid. I felt very acomplished after succsesfully arangeing these hues to make such a fantastic wheel of color.
My apologies for the green back ground, but because of it i can tell you that the green color is affecting the wheel in all of its colorful glory in look and appearance. This is due because of subtractive and additive optical mixing that occurs with color

We took a field trip to see Josef
Albers's original color plates at the library.
This was a lovely exsperience to behold!
I did noy reolize that our library had a rare collection of information such as these color plates.
With so many color plates to see it will be hard to talk about.

I believe this was a fancy study in how 3 colors can look like 4. There is a flap that if lifted, reveals that the half circle shapes are conected. This elegant study was one of my favorites to observe first hand.
Albers is adding and subtracting light for the viewer's eyes. The left plate is additive transparency,
the right plate is subtractive transparency. Keep in mind the terms are referring to the mixture of light which can be confusing if not explained.
